Two Days Workshop on PCB Fabrication at ECE Dept. BIT Sindri.

The ECE Department of BIT Sindri is organising “two-day Faculty Development and Student Training Programme on PCB Design & Fabrication” during November 03 and 04, 2023. The program was inaugurated with great enthusiasm by the esteemed Director of BIT Sindri, Prof. Pankaj Rai, and the Head of the ECE Department, Prof. M.G. Tiary. The presence of these eminent personalities added immense value to the event. The program, coordinated by Dr. Prashant Kumar Singh and Mr. Gunjan Gandhi, witnessed the active participation of all the faculty members of ECE Department like Dr. Amar Prakash Sinha, Dr. Imteyaz Ahmad and more than 60 students from various academic backgrounds. This diverse group of students came

together to delve into the intricacies of PCB Design and Fabrication. A highlight of the program was the presence of Mr. Duraswamy from ETS India Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu as the resource person. The insights and practical knowledge delivered by him were instrumental in guiding the students through the training modules. The training program offered a hands-on learning experience, allowing the students to gain in-depth knowledge about the essential tools and techniques required for PCB Designing. They were able to apply this knowledge practically and understand the nuances of designing printed circuit boards. Additionally, the program covered the fabrication process of a prototype of a PCB circuit, giving the students a comprehensive understanding of the entire PCB manufacturing cycle. This knowledge is invaluable, as it enables them to bring their

innovative ideas to life and develop functional electronic devices.
